Christmas DWTD box set tasting. Dark, oily brown pour, scant head. Boozy sweet aroma, brown sugar. Taste is brown sugar, raisins, fruitcake superb, strong.

Oxidation hits out the gate, but the nose really settles in nicely. Notes of caramel bread pudding, vanilla, and smoked leather. Palate w/ a bit more barrel character - boozy oak, overcooked caramel, & a hint of residual bitterness. Killer.
