another badass modern ipa from these guys, this time with thiolized yeast, which really make these hops pop, all or mostly sabro, amazing expression of it, is obvious that these yeasts are the future when used correctly, its cool to see these guys leading the way with them, and i dont mind paying the higher prices their work mandates, this is awesome beer, and its getting to idaho pretty fresh which is an extra bonus. real pale which i like, clear the way for this hoppy goodness, yellow straw colored, a little whitewashed looking, with two inches of puffy white head from the can. aroma and flavor here are both extremely fresh, pungent, and early, with white grape, floral white wine, cut flowers, white tea, white peach, green gooseberry, honeysuckle, honeydew, and lemon candy, doesnt seem like there is lactose in this like there is in another recent anchorage one i had, the cabin, its not needed and im glad its absent and not becoming their thing. white gummy worms, sauvignon blanc, tangy meyer lemon, soft earthy grain way out of the way and giving it an amazing fluffy softness, white wheat i would assume, and almost no bitterness or green hoppy bite for how bold the hops are. juicy and fresh, super distinctive, a showcase of sabro like none other i can recall, and so forward and aromatic with this yeast enhancing the hop profile. i want to have a ton more like this, run through all the sexy hops in a similar beer! great stuff from anchorage here, cutting edge, and with dope can art as well! dont miss this one.

16oz can from the CoOp - finding Anchorage randomly at the grocery store = happiness. Bright pale straw hazy pour with a clean white head - the Sabro on this one is good all around with nice coconut cream vibes, less of the mint and cedar I normally get. More tropical fruit in general, smooth, lighter body and really not much perceptible bitterness. Tasty.
