L-Light colored beer, not much carbonation visible, some yeasty floaters visible.
S-Candy-like. Funky. Fresh lemongrass, sweet tart, oj. Funk brett/bubblegum notes.
T-Some lemon grass, sweet tart, freshly squeezed oj. Sweet wheat and grain. Funky sweet brett notes at the end. TSome bitterness.
F-A bit watery, a bit light.
O- A bit meh. I am disappointed with this one, because I have always thought of ABC as a bucket list brewery for me. I've never been able to get it where I live in the south. Thankfully I have another beer from Anchorage Brewing Co I picked up in Denver to try. I can tell this beer has some good craft to it, it just isn't fully fleshed out in my opinion.

lovely take on a wit here, some brett in the mix giving it that mixed culture appeal. so sick to be able to buy anchorage beer in boise now! this is also done with black peppercorn, coriander, and orange peel, the pepper being a neat little addition, which plays up the more subtle spice profile of the belgian yeast, to me that element is lost a little to the brett, but its a good trade off as far as i am concerned, love their funk and its awesome in this beer. affordable bottle by their standards, tough to get out cork, neat label art, clear pour through the first two thirds, super super light, electric yellow, well conditioned head, some fine sediment clouding it towards the bottom. the aroma is bretty funk, stone fruit, sweet orange, dry wheat and pils malt, lemongrass, white rather than black pepper somehow, juicy too, delicate but complex. the flavor agrees, lots going on but real agreeable, the brett part of this is lovely, drying, horsey, familiar, super farmy. lemon more than orange when its cold, more orange as it warms, zesty and essential oily, bright. pepper is more subtle than the nose, coriander more robust, a little less belgian too, but i think overall the proportions are really cool, appreciable as a wit but also so much more, seems sort of new school dry hoppy too, fruity like that, and vinous a bit as well, rather dynamic, but still so drinkable, like i could drink gallons of this, especially with the high carbonation and amazingly light body. this is another clever beer in this funky mixed culture space from anchorage, they kill it with these. cant wait to see what they do next!
