Pours a pitch black, with quickly dissipating head. It smells very cake battery, almost to an artifiicial, Jeni's cake batter ice cream levels (this is a slight to Jeni's more than anything). Maybe a touch of sweet coconut milk comes through on the nose. Given the nose, you would expect more body, but it's hard to remember that this one is only 8.5%. In truth, I'm not sure this the vehicles for these adjuncts. It feels light and not substantial. There's almost an artificial cotton candy flavor. Some colas notes well,

Pours like motor oil… small, tan head. Mouthfeel is really thick. Taste is heavy malt, cocoa, and nuts.

Midnight black body, opaque; thick, light brown head, foamy and frothy then fading to a thin wisp. Dense aroma of dark and charred grain, coffee grounds and baker's chocolate. Killer taste; dark, rich, sweet chocolate; vanilla; coconut; heavy sweetness with a slight nutty bitterness. Heavy body; dense and oily.
The initial aroma was fairly muted, likely due to the pouring temperature being so cold but opened up as the beer warmed. The highlight has to be the flavor; it made an impact on my palate even with its freezing temperature at the pour. It a fine sweet stout with some oat-like smoothness.
Pouring temperature: 32.0 ℉; canning info: 12/13/22

Canned 2 months ago. Pours near-black with a short-lived tan head. The nose is like an almond brownie. Rich chocolate, almond, caramel, vanilla, a vaguely salted character. Subtle coconut as well. The taste is similar but lighter. Porter vibes with mild charred bitterness and roast around the edges. Somewhat cola-like as well. The mouthfeel is medium-ish. Low carb but has a certain spritziness, maybe from the coconut milk. Relative to the rich nose, the taste is a touch thin and abrupt. Still a very enjoyable beer.

A Tavour Treat. Pours a black color with a virtually no head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is sweet vanilla, caramel and milk chocolate. Smooth and creamy. Very enjoyable!
