This beer would be in my regular rotation. On tap at Dominion Wine & Beer in Falls Church, VA.
A - Pours a pale orange yellow. Cloudy and opaque. 3.75
S - Aroma is low, with some milk sugar, spiciness, and tropical fruit. 3.75
T - Low bitterness, slightly sweet with some citrus flavors over a tree pasted cracker base. 4.25
MF - Medium light body, smooth and easy drinking. Not chalky. 4.5

16oz can poured into a brandy snifter; the look has that textbook appearance of pale straw murkiness with minor head, very turbid but with no discernable floaties or yeast pockets. Zesty and ripe and tangy on the nose, the Strata pushing a fruity, almost coconut-y vibe, the Nelson lending a zesty greenness & fresh white wine component...tea leaves and grapefruit pith. Interesting mash-up, definitely good but not my favorite.
