Very frothy pour in the tall goblet. Somewhat hazy brew. Mouthfeel is very light and watery with more than ample carbonation. Aroma is faintly citrus, some celery, and potato peel. Taste is like hop water with plenty of flavor, just very dry with a mineral finish. I think I would rather have a Lager with a kiss of hops for the same ABV, or a very pale ale. This leaves an aftertaste that is stemmy, bitterish, and makes me want to drink something else right now. From the 16 oz can purchased in the far south.

I am drinking Descend today; it has a unique list of ingredients and a low ABV. I will be googling to understand what the brewers are trying to do with this beer. I served it at 40 degrees. I used a pint glass, and the pour created a frothy and airy two-fingered head with above-average retention. The large head left lots of lacing on the glass. The beer's apperance is elegant with a beautiful retention.
Nosing the glass, I smell pineapple, mango, peaches, floral esters, bready, lightly toasted malts, and a slight funk (kind of bretted, but not). The unique aromas make the nose double-check what I am smelling. It is unusual to have a strong aroma for a low abv beer. I want to determine what aromas the hops are, not the additions.
Interesting; the beer is trying to trick my palate into thinking this is a fuller-body beer. I taste floral (like jasmine), grapefruit, oranges, pine resin, bay leaves, a light funk, peaches, mangos, lightly toasted bread, pineapples, a moderate yeasty flavor, lemons, and limes. The flavors are bright and fresh with a bit of depth.
The mouthfeel is carbonated and thin. The body is light and moderately carbonated.
After googling the additions, the brewers added more flavor to a light-bodied beer. A lot is going on, but it balances out. I enjoyed this beer; it was bright, crisp, and refreshing. It would go down smoothly on a warm summer night by a fire.

Can. Hazy orange sunset. White head with lace.
Light, but still a lot of flavor. Hop powder, pine, resin. Bitterness. Very earthy. Melon and mango. Some citrus. Appreciate the 4.0%
