L- Cloudy straw gold color with solid carbonation and a decent rocky head.
S- Smells of sweet and nice funky barnyard, tart tropical notes and strawberry. Sweet bubblegum brett follows as well.
T-The taste follows the nose, although a bit understated. The tropical notes are there and very pleasant. An emphasis is on the brett, though, as it is decently funky flavor-wise.
F-Drying mouthfeel.
O-This is a re-review, as I took some side notes while drinking it a week ago,. My notes are a bit dulled, but I really liked this beer. Not surprised that Anchorage made a solid Saison once again. I would like to try this one again and fill out this review.

Pours a beautiful clear yellow bubbles rising to the fluffy white head.
Aroma is sweet tropical pineapple, oak, Brett, white grapes, hops, light funk that impart some earthy, yeast notes hints of spice.
Taste is bright tropical pineapple dominant, grapes, apricot, oak, funk and light spice, with a light hop bite. Brett is subdued compared to a lot of others in the style.
Mouthfeel light crisp fits the style well.
Overall nice not sure if I have ever had this much pineapple in a saison before.

Pours a murky straw color with about a finger's worth of off-white colored head. I'm happy to report that the head isn't some out of control monster trying to foam out of the glass. The aroma is almost straight pineapple juice, with a touch of brett funk rounding out the fruit sweetness with additional tropical nuances (mango, papaya, guava). Oaky touches really seem to smooth out the fruit notes, instead of clashing. The flavor is less blatantly fruit juice-y, allowing more of the other notes to shine. There is a touch of tartness at the start and finish, but nothing major. Brett could be more defined; the presence is definitely palpable, but gets lost in translation compared to the big pineapple notes. The general texture is dry but a touch chalky, with effervescent carbonation. The drinkability factor is very, very good. Although ultimately...this one let me down somewhat, then again, I'm coming off Anchorage's utterly masterful Blessed, so my expectations were blisteringly high. My main problem is that the whole package doesn't come together into one harmonious whole. Not bad at all, solid even, but I wouldn't buy again at $10+ a small bottle.

Got this one given to me because they didn't realize it was sour. Cool, free beer! Pale yellow and cloudy body, pearl white head, sporadic lacing. Smell has an initial impression of brett and hops with mild pineapple and citrus fruit emerging slowly, backed by bright oak. Brett and hop bomb in the taste, wow, even the oak and pineapple are faint in comparison, want more balance here like the nose had. The feel is more balanced though with brett, sour acidity, and oak leading, mild dry wild yeast on the finish.

It’s rare to see a brewery brew a straight up Brett Beer, and this is somehow the second one I’ve had from Anchorage. Unsurprisingly the first one was damn good, and I can only imagine this one will be even better. Brett carries pineapple notes naturally so the addition of pineapple here is a no brainer. Let’s get into it
Pours a cloudy pale gold with a finger of soapy white head that slowly fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose displays a nice blend of funky and fruity notes. I’m picking up on aromas of dried pineapple, petrichor, pear skin, sharp oak, tannic white wine, crackery malt, wildflower honey, light strawberry, and dried apricot
The funky tartness of the nose shifts to something more earthy in taste. I usually would consider this a downgrade but it’s an interesting sidestep. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting bready malt, pineapple juice, stone, raw grain, sweet honey, dried apricot, light vanilla, and peach. The swallow brings notes of pear skin, stone, tannic white wine, raw grain, wildflower honey, dry oak, pineapple juice, and green tea
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes a tad sticky by dries out over time
Another damn fine beer from Anchorage. I need more like this

i was skeptical on this one, with the pineapple, like it might make the whole thing sweet, but its chewed right down by all these brett strains and saison yeasts, to the point the pineapple is dry, yet is still is there, especially on the finish, adding a tropical and jovial aspect to this, super drinkable and summery, funky enough, light oak but new oak to me, really tasty. i think the hops really make the pineapple pop too, so intentional and rightly matched up there, yum. some definite fermentation similarities to the no salvation, which also uses two brett types and two saison strains and is well dry hopped with trendy new school stuff, but this one goes all in on the tropical, has a little less funk and wood to me, and leans into the fruit, which is subtle overall but a huge part of the identity of this, some acid like fresh sliced, some juicy sweetness like crushed from the can or in fruit cocktail, but it all comes together great, and it loves the funk. farmy and rustic, some grain character in the mix, the oak has a sweetness too and trace vanilla and tannins, white wine maybe, peach and papaya, honey and straw, white tea and peony, way interesting, and the fruit all comes on late. the hops bring a lot here, great with the pineapple, carbonation is popping, and the overall quality is just tremendous, subtle but distinct on the ferment, drinkable as they come, could easily be lower alcohol than it says it is, just a refined and clever brew, what i expect when i come here, and ive never left anything but stoked. i hate paying their bottle prices, but its also hard to argue that the beers arent worth it. this is best in class as this sort of thing goes, pure fire! a burnt sugar rim and an umbrella would set it off...

poured from a 375mL bottle into a TG assassin teku. pours a hazy gold to almost orange with almost two fingers of soapy white foam head. soapy wine barrel, soapy brett, just a hint of pineapple with honestly more tropical aromas coming from the hops than the fruit addition. really lovely nose on this one. almost as much passionfruit and orange than there is pineapple. taste leans stronger on the funky brett with a fruity and dry finish. a touch of oak. medium-full mouthfeel. highly carbonated. this was damn good.
