From Good Times Oakland, canned October 12th 2023.
A session IPA that is a hazy orange with a short lasting head of foam, very little lacing.
The smell is tropical fruit, melon, hints of onion, suggested bitterness.
The taste is tropical fruit, grapefruit citrus, lemon, not too vibrant which may be caused by its 3 month age.
Light bodied, carbonation is mild.
Pretty good and tasty for the abv.

hazy session type here done with phantasm and nectaron, really heady, fresh, light, and good, flavorful and refined, despite the name, nothing is sacrificed here, and this is one i could drink all day every day, a rarity for me personally in the hazy space. this is not to be confused with the sacrifice, a huge imperial stout from awhile back which i am still yet to have, this might be the final evolution of something that can rightly be called a session ipa, as good as it gets. the aroma and flavor run about the same in this whitewashed light yellow brew all frothy from the tap at the source. nose of sliced peaches, almost ripe pears, white wine grapes, and tangerine, these hops are fresh and the dosage is perfect, enhanced by the thiol boosting phantasm no doubt, this is majorly herbal, floral, fruity, and vinous, all the notes, but nothing hits too intense or forced, clean lemon, white coconut, nectarine at peak ripeness, orange candy, yet somehow its also dry and fast finishing, a little weedy, but tidy too still and not long lingering. major stone fruit from the hops, neat ferment too though with the phantasm lifting it all, and mouthwatering spring white wine on the swallow. a touch light on carbonation but the overall lightness of the drink and the abv are such a nice change of pace, and this really scratches the itch, modern and thoughtful and great, another gem from anchorage.
