Clear, yellow pour and glass appearance; sparse carbonation; thin, loosely sudsy head that quickly fades to a thin and patchy appearance. Not much smell; dusty water. Coriander and lime sensations on the palate; citrus zestiness; no sensation of wheat or other malts. Medium density mouthfeel; flat and watery.

This tastes and feels like a somewhat flat Sprite. The only thing witbier-ish about this beer is the notes of orange peel and coriander, otherwise, this beer is a bust.

I really thought I would like this one more than I would. Something just seemed a bit off with it. Something was a bit rough around the edges. I did get notes of oranges.

they had a nice collection of belgian styles when we hit the brewery this time, not usually what they are known for, at least anymore, but this one is really good too, a floral and springy wit, cleaner and less funky than expected, tidy belgian yeast, very delicate and light on the grain side, dry and fast but not hurting for flavor at all, infinitely drinkable really, even being a little stronger than the style generally is. coriander and orange in this, and its zesty in the nose, blonde and golden and shimmering in the glass, understated but emitting a lot of unique smells, citrus oil, lemon, an almost saline minerality, white bread, fennel seed, and honey, this is off dry. the flavor follows, not too much coriander but its toasted and obvious in here, as is the fresh juicy orange, not overdone at all, but leaving their mark. the grain is really mild, wheaty of course, slightly nutty, but its just a base. the yeast is lovely, not done too warm where it takes over everything, and there really is some complexity to this. citrus bitterness helps it finish fast, carbonation is rushing and excited, and this is refreshing, intriguing, and stands out from other example of the style while also being easy to place as a wit type. super well done, as always from these guys. i love their bretty takes on belgian styles too of course, but this is a nice change of pace.

poured from a 375mL bottle into a tulip glass. pours a semi-hazy yellow with a finger of soapy white foam head. lemony and a little light black pepper on the nose and taste. really tasty. kind of floral and lightly hoppy. refreshing as all get out. medium-full mouthfeel. well carbonated. this was quite enjoyable. nice easy drinker on this lovely fake spring day here in central IL.
