its amazing how many beers these guys make now, its constant, and its always a joy to check in and drink a few of them, i try to stay currant but their stuff is hard to get and always spendy, good to actually be at the brewery! apparently a collaboration with a bladesmith or something, thats unique! done with nelson and nectaron and mosaic majorly dry hopped and new school, this is what the kids are drinking these days. quite creamy and starchy feeling, but not as heavy as their most dense, thats for sure, good carbonation gives it some airy lightness, needed i think, the texture here is good, but its all about the hops. bigtime stone fruit in nose and taste which are pretty similar in this one, dried apricot out in front, pineapple rings, canned crushed pineapple too, a coconut note, green grape and springy white wine, dried flowers, lemongrass and lemon verbena, some danky oily weed character, fruity pebbles cereal, definitely has that thiol boosted character, but in an appealing way, unforced. some body, some starch, some legitimate new school type maltiness, no color, no sweet, no caramel, but still grainy, contemporary and supportive of all these hops. nelson does its thing in front of the others to me, but all are appreciable. good carbonation is nice, some hop oiliness, clementine as it warms, even kiwi fruit. good to great, these guys make so many good hazy ipa types, and this is another banger, identifiable as anchorage brewing at this point, a good thing!
