very good hazy here, not as over the top as some of theirs have been, fantastic art on the can as always, nice mix of hops, part modern and new, part recognizable, fresh to me, up front and early starting and juicy, low bitterness the whole time, brilliant in the aroma and almost as good in the flavor, fairly complex, and without being heavy from the grain really, despite it having some of that earthy rawness to it. yellow and cloudy but still pretty bright, with a bit of sandy sediment in the very bottom of the can, lots of carbonation keeping it light, and a full inch of white head on it relaxing slowly. the nose on this is intense, lemongrass and yellow florals to an almost perfume extent, honeycomb, navel orange, and pineapple also in play, an almost candied thing about it, sweet and herbal, with some starchy grain underneath, wheaty to me, this is quite potent but not green or forced. the flavor is relaxed some, but still punchy and fruity, meyer lemon, key lime, pineapple candy, green apple, white wine, and even a bit of a cream soda type sweetness for a flash, cool with the fruitiness in here, not quite tropical and not cloying, but unique and interesting. bitterness stays way back, freshness is evident, and there is some character to the grain too, silky smooth, uplifting feeling even before the high carbonation, and it takes the hop intensity really well, pale and earthen the whole time, never cooked or enriched to me. quite floral and springy overall, white wine notes as it warms, some oils, white grapefruit and its zest, interesting mix of hops on this and a really original drinking ipa overall. their beers are spendy, but they are so often worth the bucks and the hype, i really liked this one!

16oz can pours out golden-orange with a yellow-ish cap of head, about two fingers worth. Hoppy and zippy nose full of fruitiness, crisp with tangerine start to finish, pleasant notes of citrus and orange fruit throughout. Lovely.
