Copenhagen 23/4 2020. 50 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard web-shop. Simple green and white label with the Mill from Rækker Mølle.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as thin, lonely patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a herbal sweetness and smoky notes. Seaweed, cooked vegetables, salty licorice, smoked malts and peat.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is fairly intense with medium strong malty sweetness. Followed by a more moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is Sweetish with a light sourish undercurrent. Finish is peaty and a bit salty.
Quite smoky but could do without the herbal touch.
