This is an awful, awful, awful, awful, awful, awful, awful name for a beer. Why not just "Snow Days?" Did anybody, at any point, find the pun in any way amusing?
Aside from that--yum. This is ida pils against amarillo and centennial hops. That shouldn't be anything too fancy, but it turns out to be an almost flawless example of a medium-strength American IPA.
What I mean by that is it's not a hop bomb. There's nodes of grain, flowers, and fruit, but nothing punches you in the face. It's not the kind of beer that's a poem in and of itself. Sipping does not make your pinky extend away from the glass. Or, really, there's no reason to sip it, because it's drinkable in the most basic sense--meaning that it's not "smooth for its size," but is instead something that you could easily and enjoyably make a session out of.
Exceptionally well-balanced and flavorful from start to finish, this is like a poor man's Masala Mama. It's probably the best beer at LBC, and you should try and track some down.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
