Look: It's a slightly dark amber with decent head retention and lacing.
Smell: citrus and a bit of earthiness to the hops
Taste: Moderate bitterness for an IPA. Citrus and herbal, earthy hops, but also with a chalky taste. I don't know if the chalky taste is naturally occurring or a result of something added in the brewing process. However, I didn't really mind it.
Feel: medium bodied for an IPA
I would say that this is a legitimate craft-quality IPA. The hops are grown in the Qingdao area of China, according to the information on the beer. The hops are good. In my opinion, It's not as good as West Coast IPAs or the IPAs from BrewDog (a brewery with a big market in China), but it is worth trying, and worth its selling price in China (cheaper than imported craft beer).

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Green Session. Aroma is citrusy and resiny with orange rind notes. Taste is resiny, bitter, earthy and dry with orange rind flavor. Clean and well made.

Prominent hops, light pine undertones, excellent IPA. I prefer the Explorer General though. Brighter and more balanced.
