Poured from the tap into a weizen glass at the Hengshan Rd. location.
A: Very "amber" in an almost unsettling way. tomato juice red when held to light. Cloudy with some strange neon orange notes. Unnatural looking. Head stuck around for about 1 minute - it was off white and thick.
S: Slightly spicy and citric with some bread and fruit. Had to dig a bit but good.
T: Very smooth with lots of spices. Bubble gum and bread and clove all over. Classic taste with lots of spice and bready malt. Yeasty in the finish with a nice lingering clovey spice note.
Overall, an ok dark weizenbier. The look is very odd and unnatural, but aside from that, it's a tasty and pretty good beer.
