Hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma has some nice fruity hops but it's also quite grainy. Taste starts sweet and malty at first with some juicy hop notes, gets grainy in the middle and continues to build up bitterness towards the finish. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Overall it's tasty and easy to drink but a bit too grainy for the style and it could use some more aroma hops.

Was gifted this 0.33l bottle from Gerhard at cafe Abseits. Enjoyed it in the sunshine on a hillside in Valkenburg Netherlands on 01OCT15. Best-by date was 07SEP15.
It was pale golden and cloudy, with a frothy, off-white head. It lasted well and lacing was decent, while the carbo was slow and dispersed. Smelled a bit rindy with some crackery malt thrown in. Had light prickle and a medium body.
Tasted crackery, too, and again was a touch rindy. A bit of green apple was present. An aspect of the Monroe hops, or was it off? Finish was a tad floral and dry. Not bad, though also not memorable. Prosit!

Picked this up at a great beer shop in Darmstadt, Germany, Maruhn Welt der Getränke. Cloudy amber-orange pour with a two finger foamy white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is somewhat dank resiny and reminds me a lot of Nelson Sauvin. Hints of peach, grass, melon, caramel, and tangerine. The taste follows suit with the dank, resiny hops dominating along with hints of tangerine, caramel, melon, subtle grapefruit, grass, and orange peel. The mouthfeel is thick and chewy, oily, and hugely drinkable. Overall, this was very surprising and this Monroe hop is definitely one I will seek out. It has a New Zealand feel to it that I have become quite fond of. Highly recommended!

Pours a cloudy amber color, with lots of sea monkeys, and a huge, bubbly head.
Has aromas of peach, watermelon among biscuity malts, with a mineralic undertone, adding to sour citrus peel. Quite resinous, with lots of wet grass, creating an interesting interplay between fruits and dankness.
Exhibits a fitting, lively carbonation, illustrating the beers refreshing, light body.
Tastes very fruity, foremost due to juicy oranges, tangerins and citrus, leading to a slick hoppy bitterness, successfully balanced by bready malts. Watermelon adds to that impression, with a lively, stony, mineralic carbonation, coated up by slightly herbal grass notes. Finishes with a pleasant dryness among sweeter malts, blending well into glazed orange peel, kiwi and citrus.
Drinks fairly easy, while fruits providing a great foundation, from which the dank qualities are getting well accentuated. Reveals an aquaeous note during the sweeter finish, which doesn't distract from the beers taste direction, but makes it an easy drinker.
