Beer is a typical modern Irish pale ale (a beer that lies somewhere in the middle of the English and American pale ales). The beer is a pale golden ale with a slight use to it. It is quite fizzy, defiantly in the APA level of carbonation. The beer has a low enough bitterness, more in keeping with the English pale ale style. The hops are nice and flowery with a grassy taste to it (it is fresh hopped after all). Although not too bitter the overall taste is hoppy with little malt presence. It is a very refreshing and quaffable beer. The only downside is the price at €5.50 a bottle in the local off-licence (this is due to every part of this beer coming from Ireland; a small and expensive country).
