Pours a solid black colour. Smells strong of roasted malts, a bit of coffee, faint black licorice. Tastes much lighter than expected, much more so than all other Russian Imperial Stouts that I've had before. Mostly coffee, chocolate, tree fruits, and roasted malts; typical flavours, but much less intense.
