Breaka' Dawn is near the top of the taplist at Triple Voodoo's new taproom on 3rd St in San Francisco. As one of their more "drinkable" beers, Breaka' Dawn is a very appealing belgian pale ale which is light in color, medium body, and low alcohol content which should attract inexperienced and demanding beer drinkers alike. Breaka' Dawn pours a hazy yellow and upon first sip a wonderful orange-banana zest flavor enters the palate. Along with complex fruity flavors, the brew is exceptionally bitter for a belgian pale and has a beautiful soft caressing mouthfeel. Really a wonderful modern rendition of the belgian classic and I predict many local beer drinkers falling in love with this brew.
