Muted copper color with a fizzy white head. Zesty citrus hops and a biscuity malt profile resonate in the beer's aroma. The healthy dosage of hops provides an ethereal crispness that accentuates the semi-sweet malt character lurking underneath. This beer definitely possesses quenching ability. Mouthfeel seemed a bit over-carbonated for my liking, limiting drinkability only minimally. The other deterrent to Bush Hog's drinkability has to be its strong alcohol presence, that makes this one strong golden ale. Good stuff, all the same.

This is a very interesting concept for a beer... a "lawnmower beer" that comes in at nearly 8%. Light in color, to draw in the "I don't drink dark beer" crowd, but definitely not light in flavor, and packed with enough alcohol to make you forget all about the lawn...

Pours a light copper with a thin white head. Aroma is a mixture of breadlike malt, spicy noble hops, and a touch of citrus. Flavor is bold, alternating between malty and hoppy... very well balanced, with some notes of orange. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. This is a very good beer from what is quickly becoming the second best brewery in Indiana (after 3 Floyds).
