On tap at the brewpub
Appearance is semi-hazy dark amber with a smallish off-white head that fades to a ring, but leaves some lacing. Pretty beer.
Smell is of sourdough bread, Granny Smith apples, light candy-sugar, and a pack of floral hops.
The floral hops dominate the taste, but the apples and bread are still there.
Very nice mouthfeel, and quite drinkable for an IPA -- this seems nicely "refined," rather than a smash-mouth hop-bomb. That role is taken by NABC's Hoptimus. This one is much "nicer."

Had this recently at the brewery. Nice copper brown color. Hop forward but a nice malty back tone. Not as up front hoppy as most American IPA styles. Good golden lacing, a little lighter mouthfeel than I expected. Tried a few of their brewed beers - this was my favorite for drinkability.

Poured from draft into a pint glass. Crystal clear gold/copper body. Minimal head. Sticky off white lace.
Smell was bright hoppiness. Floral.
Taste was fresh bitterness. Pleasant, oily hops. Maltiness was present, yet it followed the assertive, astringent hoppy qualities. Nice.
Mouthfeel was smooth and dry. I had to have two pints because it was very drinkable. I will have it again.

Pours with nice head, beautiful lacing, dark brown color. Smells typical for the style, the smoke probably affects my rating for the smell.
Taste is malt driven, but the hops are in the forefront a well. Mouthfeel is thick and rich. Good drinkability.
