Aroma is grains/malts, a hint of tea and cake batter. The flavor is malts/corn, caramel, graininess in the middle and a nutty almond/pecan/mildly sweet finish.

12oz undated bottle poured into a can glass at fridge temp 5% ABV 18 IBU. The beer pours bright in a dark copper color and produces a meager light khaki head. The head recedes to a thin cap. The aroma is toasted malt. The taste is more toasted malt, maybe a hint of rye malt and mild to moderate bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, adequately carbonated and mostly dry in the finish. Overall, good. The label is certainly confusing and a typical fan of cream ales would probably not care for this one.

Very good depth, robust flavor, with a more pronounced hoppy flavor. Slight sweet taste, but not overly sweet.

surprisingly better that I was inspecting. Rich malt flavor , but could be stronger on hops.

Very clear, dark amber with a fleeting head but significant lacing. The smell is dominated by caramel from the malt with no noticeable hop aroma. The same goes for the taste - rich malt flavors with minimal bitterness. The feel is quite smooth and the finish very clean. The malt flavor does an excellent job of masking the rather high alcohol content. I dropped 6 bucks on a bomber of this at the brewery and while not terribly disappointed, I probably am one and done with this as there are better choices for less money.
