Received a 10 oz. pour at the New Albanian Brewing Co. as part of the annual Lupulin Land Festival. Modest sticky head left lace down the glass. The body was murky and orange/chestnut.

Smell was sweet and citrusy.

Taste was a whopping sweetness and oily hops bitterness. Rich. This is one ramped up beer. Hyper malts and hyper hops. It packs a lot of hops flavor without the tongue scorching. The enormous flavors actually do well at balancing one another.

Mouthfeel was full bodied and syrupy.

The festival "program" has this to say about the Fifth Anniversary:
"5 malts, including Maris Otter, 2-row, Caramalt, Aromatic, and Special B...% hops: Simcoe, Saaz, Nugget, Galena, and Centennial, totaling 80 IBUs...House London ale yeast. Brewed in 2007 in honor of NABC past, present and future. 5,555 second boil (92:35) and 5 hop additions. 10% abv".

This looks almost identical to the Oaked Fifth Anniversary, except the oak aging.
