Unique lightly Belgian influenced APA with overly weak malt.
___
A: Somewhat hazy light cider yellow with a fleeting one finger white head
S: Substantial citrus hops on grapefruit and orange. More malt than expected, on caramel and a bit of butter. There's also a bit of stinky 'greenness' (in a good way) and hints of spice
T: Hops are similar to nose, more resinous, but the malt is quite diminished. The 'stink' flavor is there.... Simcoe? Also present are subtle Belgian hints of spices, banana and pepper.
M: Light body as expected, really too light, even for the style, but the gritty texture sticks to tongue well, partially redeeming.
O: Nice hop and yeast components, but lack of malt backbone leaves it bordering on Hop Tea.
