500ml bottle. Hoepfner Weizen glass.Enjoyed on mar“12. Brownish dark amber,deep ruby to the light.Beige froth.Close thick crown.Good retention.Caramel malt intense aroma.Toasted malt & bread crust to the nose.Toasted malts & hints of sweet chocolate at first sip.Banana notes.Clove touch & ripe sweet strawberry evocation.Low hoppiness.Low bitterness.Crispy wheat mouthfeel.Medium body,moderate carbonation.Herbal finish.Pleasant & drinkable.

Dark appearance, with ruby edges, and with a beige, not too much head.
Caramel in the smell, along with a light banana, and a hint of cloves. Then again caramel.
Quite light taste, but drinkable. It doesn't seem a dunkel weizen, the caramel is a lot less strong than in the smell.
Again light banana and cloves. All light.
Some caramel and toffee in the aftertaste, not too long.
Not bad at all, but we expected something more characterized.
