Sampled at the Corona brewery last weekend, reviewed from notes, color is mahogany with more brown than red in it, 3/4 inch creamy off white head, some retention, not much lacing, aroma consists of caramel, bit of smokiness, lots of yeast, mild toffee, and prunes, taste was a little dry at first but it was not because of hops because there was barely any in there, middle has some odd fruity flavors that are mostly plums and raisins, finish has caramel and some toasted bread, dry, earthy, and chewy mouthfeel, medium body, moderate level of carbonation, could drink a few glasses of this, pretty smooth and balanced enough where no flavor was too much at any point, might have again when I go back, main complaint here is that is so light in taste and feel for its style, otherwise not too bad, might be worth trying

2005 Edition:
Pint glass shows aa almost-black centerpunch outlined by mahagony as light struggles through. The quickly colapsing tan collar of foam releases notes of chocolate, coffee, and deeply roasted malt...which judged blind, I'd pick out as a Porter.
This brew is tasty, with an entry that every lover of quality malt should enjoy. Midtaste drops sharply, if only to set the stage for a chocolate finish capped with a latte fade.
Mouthfeel is good and the yeast strain extremely tasty. Another winner for Bob and his cast!
