This brew is listed on the menu as an Imperial Coffee Porter
Poured with a 60/40 blend of G-gas, this brew arrives with the nitro bloom in progress. Body is inky black with a mahogany tracing along the edges of the English style pint glass. The cap consists of a ½ finger of creamy (thanks to the nitro) foam the color of desert sand. This beer is brewed with five gallons of Seattle's Best Coffee (7 Bbl. batch) and the nose reflects this beautifully.
Entry provides a firm CO² grip on the sides of the tongue as the taste of pure roasted malt flows across the tongue. Midtaste holds an elevated alcohol note as the coffee begins to shine through. The finish begins with a crisp hop bite which quickly gives way to a beautiful slow, dry coffee fade.
Mouthfeel is full bodied and chewy, but beware...the heavyweight alcohol content is very, very weel conceiled!
