This brew is the Ladera Ranch entry into the Backstreet Brewing 'Carpool Experiment' in which the three brewers we given matching quantities of fermentables, hops & spices, and the same White Labs Belgian yeast strain.
Larry pours a muddy brown with a fluffy white collar of foam. The nose holds notes of clove, Belgian yeast, and is slightly chocolaty.
Entry is smooth with just right CO² bathing the tongue. Midtaste is spicy with nutmeg leading the charge of many spices supported with a roasty malt backbone. The finish is a palate-pleasing Belgian classic yeast fade.
