Poured a dark, coffee amber color with a smallish tan head that stuck around to leave a non-sticky ring.
Aromas of light coffee & sugar with some toasted/roasted malt and chocolate malts blended in.
Creamy coffee flavors move way to thin coffee and roasted dark malts and then give way to a drying hop and alcohol.
Sort of a thin mouthfeel but very appropriate for the style.
A nice warming black cofee aftertaste follows it all.
