First of all, if someone can find a better style description for this beer than please update this. Basically its half dubbel and half brown ale.
Had this on tap and it poured a real nice brown/red color and produced a decent head that disapeared quickly. No lacing anywhere in the glass. This beer like all their beers (except Heritage Hefeweizen) was crystal clear.
The smell was again half dubbel and half brown. It had some caramel notes and there was a hint of raisins in the aroma. Pretty inviting. The taste was even better. The raisin/prune flavor really comes out here. Also some caramel flavor. Very nice overall.
