Sampled at the Main Street brewery in Corona on 1/3/2009, reviewed from notes, here is a brief description from them: "This award winning brew is considered a hybrid with a generous use of pale malt. It is brewed in an old fashion top-fermenting manner using Kolsch yeast, thus modeled after the German leitches. Our Blonde is slightly heavier in body than the German version with low hop perception and is a wonderful companion to pizza."
Color is a pale golden yellow, very clear, thin 1/2 inch white bubbly head that disappears quickly, aroma had some mild citrus notes, extremely light malt, and even more subtle hops, taste was very light but decent with some lemons and oranges int the aftertaste, mouthfeel is light, crisp when cold, and buttery, thin bodied, lots of carbonation, could drink a lot of this stuff as it low in alcohol, although the rest of the beer suffers from its overall light presence, might drink again if I was there in the future, maybe worth trying
