Sampled at the Main Street brewery in Corona on 1/3/2009, reviewed from notes, apparently Octoberfest lasted a little longer in the IE this year but I like this style so I do not mind, color is a dark red mixed with brown tones, thick 1 1/2 inch soapy white head that lasts a few minutes, not much lacing though, aroma is made up of light malts, brown sugar, other sweetness, and very light hops, flavor is quite similar with more sweetness than anything, malt is more chewy than sugary though, thin bodied, light mouthfeel overall, lots of carbonation, could not drink too much more of this, little heavy on the stomach, too one dimensional, probably would not drink again, try some of their other beers before this one
