Another $2 pint Monday special. On to the beer:
The head is soapy and leaves soppty lacing over this autumn colored, amber brown beer. Sweet aroam comes to no surprise....light bread and hevay with the carmel. A touch of apple acent as well. The beer's taste starts off with soft apples and a pinch of spiced cider. I would say it seems more spiced cider than spiced apple. Where's the malt? There it is! As it warms, more and more malt creeps out. Bread crust lingers on inn the aftertaste.
Not a bad bock, though you'd be fooled thinking it was at first taste from the tap. The malt will emerge when you give it time, and at $2 a pint on Monday's, I think I can live with that.
