A: The pour is a dark brown, almost black, color with a tan head.
S: Fairly typical imperial stout aromas to this one. Roasted malt, coffee, and that's about it other than a definite acidic note. Not really complex or good.
T: Oh boy, why is there this much (detectable) butter flavor in an imperial stout? Not off to a good start. Mildly sweet at points with a really intense roasted, bitter finish. Sort of almost a cigarette/ash tray thing going on.
M: The body is pretty light and watery with a medium carbonation.
D: Another miss for Back Street. This one just didn't really do much, if anything, for me. Pass on this one.
