"Schooner Porter that has been aged with vanilla beans and rum soaked oak chips."

Cloudy dark brown with a thin khaki colored head. Lots of lacing left down the glass. Gorgeous.

Lots of chocolate and vanilla in the aroma with mild coffee notes throughout. The vanilla, earth, and wood really shine.

A wonderful combination of flavors: mild yet distinct coffee, sweet and earthy vanilla, some wood, and a dash of bittersweet chocolate.

Velvety, smooth, full mouthfeel.

A delicious coffee vanilla porter. I can't wait to go have another glass of this.

Very dark brown with ruby/brown edges and a fine tan cap. Good head retention with lots of spotty and streaky lacing. Mild aroma, malty with a little chocolate and roast. Moderate bitterness, cocoa and bittersweet chocolate, light roast, faint sour cherry. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, slight grainy astringency, decent texture. Good overall, but like all of their beers it was served too cold.

On tap at Backstreet Vista.

A: Dark brown with a crimson tinge. Small beige head.

S: Lightly roasted malt with faint coffee and chocolate notes. There's a toasted biscuit malt character with a light nut element.

T: Lightly roasted, with faint nut and chocolate notes. There's a dash of coffee. Low earthy bitterness. Malt is biscuity.

M: Light medium in body with moderate carbonation. Mouthfeel is smooth, silky, and creamy.

Overall: An enjoyable porter.

Pours an opaque, yet kind of clear-ish on the edges, brown. Just brown. Could use more head, maybe a quarter inch of off-white foam.

Smells faintly of malt, even more faintly of coffee. Could use a more robust aroma.

Pretty light porter. I guess if you're looking to go light on what is typically a heavy style, this might be your baby. Certainly not unpleasant, but not really a malt/flavor bomb, which is what I typically want from this style. A bit of coffee, a bit of chocolate, some sweet malt, a little bit of an off-putting "stale" aftertaste. Eh.

Too thin.
