On tap at Backstreet.
A: Dark brown with a reddish tinge and a finger of tan foam.
S: Floral notes are faint, and they blend with aromatic citrus that reminds me of tangerine and grapefruit. I get a whisper of roast, but it could be a mental trick from the color. I'm not really sure. Pine resin accompanies grainy notes.
T: Pine accompanies orange and grapefruit flesh with notes of pith and rind. Roasted grains are very light. I don't get any chocolate or coffee. There's a smooth moderate bitterness. Seems like an IPA colored black.
M: Medium body with upper medium carbonation.
Overall: A really good IPA that is dark in color.
