On tap at Backstreet.
A: Black with a fast fading beige head.
S: Cocoa with pronounced dark chocolate and pine resin. I get a little rye with robust roasted malt notes.
T: Roasted grains meld with milk and dark chocolate. The beer has a bittersweet quality. Rye is light and alcohol is hidden. There's an upper low level of bitterness with pine.
M: Upper medium in body with lower medium carbonation.
Overall: A solid Rye Porter.
