More than just a standard blonde ale, this beer has a stronger malt backbone than most of its category. We wished for a stronger hop presence, but certainly this beer would be an excellent choice for a summer river beer.

Pours a fairly clear golden, with a quickly receding, small, white, head. Not much for lacing. The aroma has malted grain, lemon drops, and white bread crust. The flavor has the bready quality and some mild lemon. I'd drink this over many summer ales because the lemon is mild. The feel is nice full carbonation, medium thin body, not watery, and slightly dry. Ice it down, and put your bathing suit on. What you do after, that is your business.

Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head and some sediment. Smells of yeast, malt, and some fruit. Tastes of lemons, yeast, slightly sweet malts, and some fruits with a slightly metallic taste. Light bodied with medium-light carbonation. Overall it's an average blonde.
