Had a snifter of this fresh hop ale with lunch today for $6.50. According to the server the hops were harvested wildly from a secret locale near Flagstaff by Brewer Uwe.
Beer was served golden orange with a decent white head.
Nose had hints of citrus and tropical fruit.
Taste was very well balanced between the malt base and the grapefruit hops. There was a hint of mango about mid-snifter.
Mouthfeel was medium bodied and smooth.
Overall i liked the balance of this brew. I was surprised that there was a light tropical flavor going on!
