A: Had this beer on-tap at Gene's Haufbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had a brownish color and a cloudy texture. There was a half inch of long-lasting head. Good lacing.
S: A big aroma of hops, malt, citrus, and some other components as well.
T: Tasted of hops (a lot of hops), a bit of citrus, something sweet (caramel, perhaps?), and malt in the finish. While this isn't necessarily a bad flavor it is somewhat out of balance.
M: A good amount of carbonation with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Holy Weed is certainly a drinkable DIPA, but I don't know if I would readily try it again. Worth a try, though.
