Didn't know quite to expect from this one but figured I'd give it a whirl. On tap at CC, poured into a tulip glass. A pretty heavy, sticky IPA. Great look in the glass - on the copper end of the spectrum, with a dense head that leaves considerable lace. Aroma is dominated by resinous / citrus rind hoppiness... As is the taste... Light malt flavor + big hops. Finishes dry and sticky on the palate. A nice IPA, though.

A: Had this beer on-tap at Gene's Haufbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had a yellow color and a hazy consistency. There was an inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A sharp aroma of hops, citrus and a little malt.
T: Tasted like it smelled: A good deal of hops, a tiny bit of malt in the finish, a grassy quality (not overly present), and citrus (orange). A solid enough flavor, with a strong sweetness to it. This doesn't blunt the bitterness of the hops, but it does make for a good combination.
M: A well-carbonated beer with a slick finish. Medium bodied.
O: In general this is a well made, likeable beer. Very much drinkable.
