Thanks to Jim for this one! Draft pint at the brewery.
Golden orange tone with a thin layer of foam, spotty lacing and bright clarity.
Aroma is vaguely fruity and yeasty with a mild berry note. Taste is similar, with a light bready pale malt undercurrent. Vague grapefruit peel and berry seemed to be the dominant flavors from the Callista hop used in this SMaSH brew. Seemed a bit long in the tooth compared to a fresh tapped keg of Exp Pale 2. Somewhat disappointed after this came highly recommended by brewery staff. Glad I tried the Exp Pale 1, it was far better and fresher.
