This was part of their Brewvival release, but they also had it at their brewery for samples and growlers.
A- starts off with a bubbly head, but quickly dies out to a spotty lacing. Color is a very dark brown, not much light getting through.
S- right off, you smell the bourbon and the roasted malts, as well as a slight smokiness.
T- taste is more complex than the smell. It ties in the bourbon, maltiness, and slight smokiness, with the pecan nuttiness. Not to mention the slight bourbon tinge at the end.
O- I like boozy, bourbon barreled beers. This one fits most of my criteria. I'd like to see an Imperial version of this and maybe better head retention. I hope to more of this coming out in the future.
