Got this one off tap at the brewery, part of their Slanted Porch Pale Ale series. Had a thin head with decent retention, golden straw body. Smell was pretty good, had a nice smokiness to it, as well as citrusiness of the hops. Taste was smokey up front, but soon faded into hops and pepper. I like smokey beers, so this one was right up my alley. The burn of the smoked peppers, was somewhat hot, but not over the top unbearable. Overall, this was a winner in my book. I hope they decide to keep this one around, or at least make it again sometime.
