First had: on tap at Farmers' Cabinet, Philly, PA

One of four collaboration brews between Cabinet Artisanal (VA, US) and De Struise (Belgium). Labelled as a sour dark ale fermented in red wine barrels.

Half pour served in a stem glass, dark, ruby brown color with a small cap of beige head that fizzled out rather quickly. Aroma of cherries, red wine, caramel. Taste followed the aroma, with big flavors of red wine, pomegranate, cherry, tart, sour, lactic, and quite drying; sweet caramel base, and nothing to speak of in way of hops. Medium body, great taste, should appeal to fans of beer and wine alike. Another tasty option from Cabinet.
