On tap at Farmer’s Cabinet. Pours a fairly-dark reddish-deep brown with an off-white head. The nose is quite intense with heavy notes of red wine, roasted malt, and heavy lactic acidity. Flavor brings through dark fruits and notes of cherry along with red grapes and accompanying red wine. Touch of oak along with a pretty-heavy sourness, mostly all lactic. Really, really intense. I enjoyed this one quite a bit for a few ounces, though I’m not sure this is something I could drink more than a half pint of. Still, quite tasty.

Draft at The Boilermaker in Philadelphia, PA.
Pours a deep dark copper color that's opaque with a two finger beige head that slowly fades into a lasting ring. The glass is left coated with chunks of soapy lacing.
Musty, funky aroma with lots of authentic barnyard/horsey notes. Hints of barn, cobweb, cheese and old oak along with sweet, vinous fruit. Musty, funky brett character as well with some faint acetone.
Extremely tart and puckering with lots of lactic funky and dry musty brett. Strong lactic cheese presence which is countered by vinous red wine notes before a strong acetic finish. Hints of grape and other dark berries but acetone/solvent presence is really strong and overpowering in the finish. Pretty harsh and difficult to finish.
