Draft at The Boilermaker in Philadelphia, PA.
Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a 1.5 finger white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Streaks and spots of lace left behind.
Sweet, slight musty/funky aroma with bready yeast, musty brett funk and light fruit. Subtle oak presence. Doesn't seem like it was aged for very long. Good balance of funk, barrel and sweetness.
Tart, puckering medium body with a good balance of musty funk and sweet citrus. Very refreshing with vinegary acidity that lingers throughout with out being solvent-like or overly acetic. Subtle oak/wood presence with musty brett, light fruit and tons of citrus grapefruit. Really sour but refreshing and flavorful. Could use a bit more bretty funk but it's still really good.
