On tap at Farmer’s Cabinet. Pours a medium-dark brown color with a good tan head and some spots of lacing. The nose carries some bourbon and oak along with an underlying earthiness and touch of light spice. Flavor has mellow bourbon, light oak and spice, plus a touch of vanilla. Medium body and quite smooth. Easy drinking and quite tasty.

Draft at The Boilermaker.
Pours pitch black and completely opaque with a two finger beige head that has excellent retention, only slowly fading into a lasting cap/ring. Streaks of soapy lace left behind.
Slight smokey aroma with a strong oak barrel presence. Some bourbon and vanilla but there's more of a dry wood presence than anything else. Underneath, there are some roasted malt and spicy rye notes. Hints of toffee, dark chocolate and coffee bean but the barrel slightly overpowers.
Medium bodied with a slightly burnt, acrid mouthfeel. Roasted with lots of dry oak but again, the barrel characteristic is mostly wood with subtle bourbon and vailla notes. Really dry with spicy rue and roasted malt notes underneath. Hints of burnt toast, coffee and dark chocolate. Pretty interesting but a bit one dimensional.
