I had this on-tap at Lee's Retreat.
Served in a pint glass.
A: Poured a gold color, with ever the slightest chill haze, and basically no head whatsoever.
S: Very small in the aroma department, maybe a bit of sourdough bread yeast.
T: Very sweet for this style.... too much even. Also, the finish didn't have enough delectable bitterness to counteract that.
M: Very low in carbonation, sweet as hell, and even slightly syrupy (goopy)
O: The sweetest damn Kolsch in the history of the world. While it wasn't a total disaster, it was simply too far out of style for my liking.
