Had a pint at Tullycross on 03/08/12.
A: Light and cloudy lemon yellow. Pour didn't have a head by the time it got to the table. Waitress was pretty on the ball, so I don't think the head disappeared while it was waiting. Light layer of white foam on top. Lots of polka-dot lacing.
S: Didn't really get much from the nose. A little bit of the gummy/butteryness as described in the taste section.
T: This is only the second rye beer I've ever had, so bear with me. There was a sort of a geletin-like flavor, like what you might get from the innards of a jelly bean, and a slight butteryness. Slightly sweet, though the malt wasn't really all that noticeable. Hop presence was negligible.
M: Somewhere between chewy and syrupy. Not exactly heavy-bodied, just very viscous and wet and has a tendency to stick to the inside of your mouth
O: Somebody could probably do this one more justice than I did. Just thought it should be acknowledged as being available. Not bad, if you're into this kind of thing. The one pint was enough for me, but my dad had a second. Not bad for what it is, but I liked my TCT Pale better.
